We had many attendees stopping and viewing the tractors. There were many nice compliments on the tractors and demonstration events.

Members taking a tractor to the show were, Steve Cumbey, John Dix, Harold Brown, Charles Cavenah, John Mcintire, Anthony Mcintire, Carol Martin, Brian Felkins, John Campbell and Guy Cabbiness. The following brought two or more tractors; David Hermesch, Chris and Clint Lutz and Chris Edwards.

The following are the three demonstrations.

  • Aaron and Colleen Perry with Perry Farm Ice Cream provided the ice cream making demonstration. They also had two assistants, Sharon Perry and Laney Allen. The Perry’s are from Washington, Ok. and belong to the Murry County Tractor Club. Their display with a small tractor powering the ice cream maker was very well received. They also sold ice cream and were kept busy all day. We wish to offer them a special thank you for making the trip to the show.
  • Ruth and Tim Field with the Har-Ber Village Museum, Grove Ok. provided the weaving demonstration. They brought hand woven rugs and a century old weaving loom. Tim gave weaving demonstrations on the loom. The weaving demonstration was well attended and provided a nice touch to the show.
  • Brian and his father Larry Felkins provided the hay-press. The other swamper on the hay press was Clint Lutz. There were nice crowds viewing the hay-press operation. The press continued throughout the day until the engine on the press developed problems. We want to thank Brian and his father for providing the press. And a, thank you to Clint Lutz for being the hay pitcher.

If you were not at the show you missed an opportunity to view several quality restored John Deere tractors owned by David Hermesch

A thank you, to John Dix for providing a sun shade to sit under.

A special Thank You to the Wagoner Fire Dept. for providing rides to and from our trailer parking area.

While, I think it was a good show, we always have room for improvement. If you have any suggestions for improvement please let us know.
